Thrilling situations abound in “The Broadway Bubble,” which gives Corinne Griffith the best opportunities she yet has had to display her remarkable dramatic ability and versatility. The radiant young star plays a dual role, as twin; sisters, who appear together in many scenes. So alike are the sisters in appearance, though different in character and temperament, that one of the sisters is able to impersonate the other with servants, friends, and even the husband, while her twin seeks a career on the stage. Extraordinary complications occur, in spite of the fact that the married sister was estranged from the husband in whose home she lived. He finds formerly unknown qualities in his “wife,” and falls in love with her again, seeking a reconciliation, much to the embarrassment of the masquerading twin. Some truly wonderful double exposures show,ing the sisters together lend additional charm to the picture.
