ZINC CORPORATION DIVIDEND, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, August 26. The Zinc Corporation has declared a. dividend of two shillings on preference shares for the second half of 1920. FARMERS’ CO-OP. REPORT. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Hamilton on Thursday, August 25, our yarding of sheep and cattle was below the average, but pigs were in good supply. The quality of the beef offered was mostly plain and values were below those of the previous, week. Best steers made from £9 5s to £ll 10s, light and inferior £7 10s, best cows £7 10s to £lO, lighter weights £5 10s to £7. Store cattle were not strongly represented, nor was any alteration on last week’s rates observable. Store bullocks, 3-year to £6 ss,' fresh conditioned cows £3 10s to £5 ss, smaller fraanes £2 10s to £3 10s, store cows 15s to £1 7s 6d, 2-year steers, rough quality £2 Is. The advertised yearling Jersey heifder the hammer, but were disposed of privateers did not reach the vendors’ valuation unly afterwards, the tops realising £9 ss, second quality £6 to £B, yearling heifers, Shorthorn and Holstein, £3 5s to £3 12s 6d. Sheep met with fair competition, owing no doubt to the sunall yarding. Best wethers made to 27s store wethers Us 6d to 13s, store hoggets 8s 9. Pigs, in point of vaue, ruled much at last week’s rates, baconers making to £G 4s t porkers from £2 10s, slips Cl Ts Cd to £2 10s, weanera 10s to £1 2s 6d.
