Miss El vie Meldrum is leaving on Tuesday to visit friends in Inglewood and Stratford.

Mrs. .J. F. Bennett left on Wednesday for Blenheim.
Mrs. J. Jordan, who has been spending some months in Auckland,, returned last week.
Mrs. E. A. Walker and Mrs. C. 11. Weston; who have been on a short visit to Wanganui, return to-night. Mrs. anj Miss Stace have returned to Picton. Miss Marshall and Miss Annis Wilson leave for Napier on Monday. Mrs. D. Steven (Stratford) has taken a cottage at Ngamotu beach for a forinight. # • * • Miss McEachen arrives from Nelson on Monday and will be the guest of Airs. F. S. Johns, Miss Giblin. leaves on Monday for Turn kina. Miss Olivia Shaw left this morning for Hamilton to stay with Mrs. Hammond. Miss Joyce Wilson is visiting Auckland. Miss Mclntosh is spending her holiday in the South Island. Mrs. Percival, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. R. Cruickshank, has returned to Auckland. Mrs. D. K. Morrison and Mrs. Brodie, were hostesses at afternoon teas for Mr?. Matthews, this week.
