The Rimu arrived early yesterday morning with passengers and 130 tons of cargo. She sailed again for Onehunga at 6.30 p.m. KAITUNA FROM NEWCASTLE. The Kaituna arrived from Newcastle at 6.30 yesterday morning with a cargo of coal, and berthed after being cleared by the medical officer. Discharge was commenced Immediately, but the vessel is not expected to sail before Tuesday. From here she goes to Kaipara, where the balance of the cargo will be put out. Captain Billon is In charge of the vessel. CORINNA SAILS. The Corinna completed discharging on Thursday night, and after taking in a quantity of cargo, she sailed for Wellington and Dunedin at 10.15 p.m. DORSET’S LOADING PORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamier Dorset, now discharging Liverpool cargo at Auckland, is to load for London at Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland, under the auspices of the above-mentioned company. MARAMA LEFT SYDNEY. The Union Company have received cable advice tk.it the R.M.S. Marama left Sydney at 10 o’clock on Thursday morning direct, for Wellington, bringing a number of passengers for New Zealand. The vessel is due there on Monday morning, and will sail, at 3 p.m. on Tuesday for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. WESTMEATH LOADS AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Westmeath is fixed to load at London for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The vessel is timed to sail from the Home port on .September 29. MANUKA WITHDRAWS.
The Union Company advise that the Manuka, on he” arrival at Wellington on September 14 from Sydney, will withdraw from the intercolonial service. The Tahiti, en route from San Francisco, will take the running from Wellington on September 19 for Sydney. CARGO FROM GLASGOW. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Darwin is to load at Glasgow for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel will leave Glasgow about October 22. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Hacking is loading at New York, and will leave there on September 20 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. The Port Alma is to follow the Port Hacking on the New York berth for the same ports, and is to sail from New York on November 1. MAURETANIA AS OIL BURNER. A cable from London says the liner Mauretania, during refitting after the fire, will be converted into an oil fuel burner. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Fremantle, August 26. —Osterley, from England.
