ST JOHN’S AMBULANCE.

NEW PLYMOUTH CENTRE. The examination in connection with the ladies’ first aid class was held at the Technical College, New Plymouth, last Mond*iy. The lectures were given by Dr. Wade. Dr. Blackley, who conducted the examination, expressed himself as highly pleased at the creditable manner the class had gone through their work. Following are the names of the ladies who were successful in passing (the names are given in order of merit): Miss Joyce Wilson, Miss Winifred Short. Miss Ivy Colson, Miss Annie Ingley, Miss Alice Avann, Miss Beattie Henderson and Miss Keir.ha Bates equal, Miss Joan Wilson and Miss Elizabeth White equal. Miss Isabella Taylor, Miss Winifred Jemison, Miss Ada Denton, Miss Gertrude Lock and Miss Greta Jemison equal, Miss Grace Searle.
