The Davis Cup draw for tho final at Newport indicates that Shimidzu will play Anderson on Thursday morning and Kumagae. v. neet Hawkes in the afternoon. Andei. i and Todd ploy Kumagae and Shimidzu on Friday and on Saturday Kumagae will ploy Anderson in the morning and Shimidzu p’ays Haw’kes in the afternoon. Both teams in practice to-day displayed top form. The Mayor of Newport announces that a silver tray weighing three hundred ounces will be added to the Davis Cup. the latter having no further space for names.
