INFLUENZA.
NO NEED FOR ALARM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Referring to the Mayor’s warning of a possible influenza epidemic, Dr. Telford (district health officer) said he had bad no advice from the general body 4 of medical men indicating anything out of the way. Only three deaths from pneumonic influenza were reported this month, and this was what would occur in any case.
