WEDDING.

FRAWLEY—HILL. A very pretty wedding was celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, at the Roman Catholic Church, Rangaroa, the Rev. Father Duffy officiating. The contracting parties were Miss Leah Annie Hill, formerly of Ohura, and Mr. Austin, fourth son of Mr. P. Frawley, of Victoria. The bride, who was given away by Mr. P. Barden, wore a frock of pale pink crepe-de-chine, beautifully embroidered and finished with aecordeon plated chiffon frills, and wore an embroidered veil with circlet of orange blossoms. She also carried a beautiful bouquet of fresias, carnations, maidenhair fern, asparagus, and white streamers. The bride was attended as bridesmaid by Miss Molly Sheffield, who wore a pale blue crepe-de-chine frock embroidered with pink rosebuds and sash of pink ribbon. Her hat was composed o ‘ ills of pink tulle, edged with biscuit hired straw, and she carried a bouquet -f pink and ■white sweet peas, maidenhair fern, and asparagus with pink streamers. Mr. T. Barry supported the bridegroom as best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a gold pendant set with aqua- | marines a.nd pearls, and to the brides- I maid a gold bangle. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a gold watch. After the wedding ceremony the happy couple left by the express that evening for Napier.
