A VILLAGE ROMANCE.
TITLED CURATE AND BLACKSMITH’S DAUGHTER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, August 20. The romance of a village girl and a nobleman culminated at Stowe parish church where Katherine Jackman, daughter of the village blacksmith, married the Master of Kinloss, grandson of the last Duke of Buckingham. The romance dates back to childhood when the young heir used to take his broken toys to the smithy, which stands at the gates of Stowe House. The Master of Kinloss states that there is nothing unusual in such a marriage in these democratic days. [Tho Master of Kinloss, who is heir to the barony of Kinloss, is 32 years of age and is a curate at Northampton.]
