Present Indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale northwards of Kawhia and the East Cape, moderate to strong easterlies backing to freshening northeriies elsewhere Rain is probable soon in northernmost districts with fair weather elsewhere, and likely to be followed by unfavorable conditions generally after about 24 hours. The barometer has a falling tendency everywhere.
