ADVANCE OF THE GREEKS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received August 21, 5.5 pjn. Athens, August 19. Greek troops • are within fifty miles of Angora. An aerial squadron raided the town, bombing the barracks, and the population is leaving. Athens, August 19. A communique states that the Greeks are advancing on a 55-mile front. They have advanced 60 miles. The inhabitants are following the Kemalist army, which Greek aeroplanes are harassing night and day. Kemal Pasha is surprised at the Greek rapidity and at present it is not known where he will accept battle. — Reuter. EX-KAISER INTERESTED. Received August 20, 11.5 p.m. Geneva, August 19. The newspaper Tribune states authentically that the ex-Kaiser sent King Constantine, his brother-in-law, a letter of congratulation on the Greek armies’ success, recalling how he had written and worked personally for the establishment of the Anatolian railway system, the most important points of which are now in the haiids of Greece.
