DIVORCE SUIT.

UNDEFENDED PETITION. On the grounds of desertion, Rosina Flyger (Hawera) petitioned in the Supreme Court, New ( Plymouth, yesterday, for a dissolution of her marriage with Herbert G. Flyger (of Blenheim). Mr. I_. Etherington appeared in support of the application.

Petitioner, a dressmaker, said her marriage took place in Feilding in 1900, and, she and her husband lived (here together for some years, during which affairs went fairly well. There were four children of the marriage, their ages now ranging from eleven to nineteen years. Eight years ago they went to Hawera. Her busband was not very temperate, and she attributed the whole trouble to the fact that he drank. He had not maintained her, and in June, 1914, left Hawera. He did not say he was going, nor did he give any reason for leaving. She heard through her relatives later as to where her husband was. He did not send any money, and she maintained herself and children. An order for maintenance was made against her husband, but he had never kept it. Corroboration being required by His Honor, the case was adjourned till Monday.
