WAR MEMORIAL.

HIGH SCHOOL OLD BOYS. A meeting of the executive of the New Plymouth High School Old Boy®’ Amociation was held last night, when the question of the war memorial* to old boys was discussed. It or decided to close the subscription list at the end of August, and old boys who have promised donations are aeked to forward them to the secretary as soon as possible. The memorial, which k being subscribed to by old boys of the school from all parts of the Dominion and abroad, will take the form of memorial gates at the main entrance to the school, and will form an imixising addition to the school property. The scheme of the gatas will be in keeping with the architectural design of the school building and a suitable plate will be attached setting out the object of the memorial ahd containing the names of old boys killed in the war.
