SEQUAH.
Last night Sequah gave another of his interesting and instructive lectures to a very large audience, the vacant section behind Sole Bros, being practically filled. He commenced with tooth extraction. His instruments, he said, were of his own invention and did the operation easily, scientifically, and with little or no pain. Several mounted his’ car, and the way in which the teeth came out justified Sequah’s announcement. Sequah next proceeded with what he termed the more serious part of his mission. He stated emphatically that his remedies were the result of many years of research. A local resident of 40 years’ standing, a Mr. W. Austin, then limped painfully on the car. He said ho had suffered for many years, and during the past few months the pain had been so acute he had to give up liis employment. Sequah ther administered his treatment, and while the remedies were taking their therapeutic effect, he gave his interesting and most instructive, address. Afterwards Mr. Austin ivas asked if lie had any pain. He replied, “No,” and in demonstration he stepped down from the ear and walked among the audience freely and mounted the car again in a more sprightly manner than he did at the onset.
