He was an- ! nounced as. Mr. W. Stanley, of Egmonr Road, who had been suffering with sciatica for many years and walking heavily on a stick. He could not put any weight upon his limbs without great pain. A curtain was fixed and behind this screen, to which a representative of | the audience was invited, Sequah api plied his treatment to the affected parts 1 Afterwards he gave a discourse upon the ■ ailments for which his remedies were deJ signed. The patient, who had been seated during this discourse, was now questioned by Sequah and in answer said he had no pain. He was asked by Sequah to stand up, which he did. and in demonstration "lie walked down the steps from the ear and up the other side freely without the aid of his stick, feeling no pain. Sequah will continue his lecture nightly at 7.30. To-night he will treat another well-known resident.
