Arrival date at Neyv Plymouth uncertain. THE RARAWA. T>-e Rarawa arrived from Onehunga at an early hour yesterday morning with passengers and 102 tons of carl»o. The vessel returned to Onehunga last night, and is due back at New Plymouth on Friday piorning. When she leaves that night It will be her last trip in this running before withdrawal for overhaul. The practice of issuing tickets on the Rarawa and the Rimu is to be discontinued. Passengers can obtain tickets at the Northern Company's office, Egmont Street, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and also between 6.30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on steamer days.
DURHAM DUE TO-MORROW. The liner Durham is scheduled to leave WeUington to-ifcy for New Plymouth, and should arrive iri port to-morrow to commence Homeward loading. Captain A. F. Haines is in command of the Durham, and has associated with him the following officers :—First, Mr. A. F. Sellars; second, Mr. D. H. McMillan ; third, Mr. W. Briggs; fourth. Mr. J. G. Perry; chief engineer, Mr. F. Goodall; second, Mr. W. Guthrie; first refrigerating engineer, Mr. S. McKenzie. While at Montreal, Captain J. Watkins, the master, died, and was succeeded by Captain A. F. Haines, the chief officer. TAHITI LEAVES PAPEETE. The R.M.S. Tahiti, en route Wellington to San Francisco, continued her voyage from Papeete last Wednesday afternoon. POUT LINCOLN AT AUCKLAND. The C. and D. liner Port Lincoln arrived at Auckland on Monday from New York, and is expected at Wellington on Monday. PROJECTED SAILINGS FROM SOUTHAMPTON. The S.S. and A. Line advise the following projected sailings from Southampton for New Zealand:—Waimana, to leave September 1 with passengers, due in New Zealand water? about October 15; Tainui, September 8, duo New ( Zealand about October 21; lonic, October 20 for New Zealand. RUAPEHU AT NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu, which sailed from Southampton on July 29. arrived at Newport News on Wednesday last. HOMEWARD BOUND. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advice of the following vessel's movements while Homeward bound:— Kaikoura, arrived Panama on August 10. and left Colon the next day.
