A SCENE IN SHEFFIELD. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received August 15, 7.45 p.m. London, August 14. Thousands of unemployed at Sheffield demonstrated against the inadequacy of their relief. They attempted to capture the Town Hall, and the police, using their truncheons freely, dispersed the crowds, which in retreating smashed windows in the adjoining streets.
