. PRICES AT WESTFIELD. By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Westfield beef market all classes showed a decided tendency to ease. Extra prime ox beef brought £1 16s per lOOlbs., prime £1 15s and £1 9a, plain and ordinary £1 7s and 20s. Cows.—Extra choice £1 7s and £1 Is, choice £1 15s, plain 15s and 10s. Sheep.—A large yarding, mostly unfinished, both wethers and ewefj. Extra prime wethers 255, prime 23s Gd and 20s 6d. Ewes, extra heavy 20s. prime 18s and 14s, plain I2s Gd and Bs. Calves.—A fair yarding, prices being about the same as last week. Runners brought £G and £4 10s, vealers £4 10s and £2 10s, fresh dropped 10s and ss. Pigs.—A medium yarding with prices easier. Baconers £6 and £5, choppers £'d and £5, porkers £4 10s and £2 10s. Stores were neglected.
