THE TARAXAKI SESSIONS. OPEN NEXT TUESDAY. THE LIST OF BUSINESS. M The usual sitting of the Supreme Court to deal with Taranaki cases will open at the New' Plymouth Courthouse at 11 o’clock next Tuesday morning. It is not yet known who will preside, but it will probably be Mr. Justice Reed. The cases set down for hearing mak< up a somewhat lengthy list. Four prlsoners will appear for trial on various charges, and two others will come up for sentence. Twenty civil eases and three divorce cases appear on the list, and there are several motions under the bankruptcy law. The list is as follows: CRIMINAL CASES. For Trial. William Webberley, alleged incest. Rowland Tallis Eagar, alleged attempted rape and indecent assault. Archie Cecil Hooker, alleged attempting to procure abortion. George Alfred Darby, alleged carnai knowledge. For Sentence. Hilda Lydia Davey, theft. Hilton William Barlow, breaking afri entering and the-ft (five charges). CIVIL BUSINESS. John Poletti claim for £2OO damages and counterclaim for £134 9s 2d for alleged negligent driving. Albert Edward White and Ernes! Douglas White v. Millicent Curtis, claim by A. E.
