Thirty appeared in fifteen minutes and the lalf-century in 25 minutes, Bardsley’s share being 32. At 56 Howell found Collins’ off stump. With Macartney as his partner Bardsley showed delightful cleanness, and hit 50 out of 78 In 42 minutes. At 89 Partridge relieved Rotherham, and Quaife came at 104, and Howell at 115.
