She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 o’clock this evening. NGAKUTA SAILS. The steamer Ngakuta completed discharging her cement cargo and sailed for Greymouth at 11.10 a.m. yesterday. CORINNA FOR DUNEDIN. After putting out her cargo of 1200 tons from southern ports, the Corinna took in a quantity of explosives yesterday and sailed for Dunedin at 3.15 p.m. DURRANI TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Durham is to leave Wellington on Saturday fiv New Plymouth for Homeward ’oadiug. The vessel should arrive here on Sunday.)
W AIRUN A AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s cargo steamer W’airuna arrived at Auckland at 7 o’clock on Monday evening from San Francisco. The vessel is to put out cargo prior to going to Wellington, where she is expected on Thursday. ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. The Huddart Parker Company advise that their inter-colonial passenger steamer Uliraaroa is to leave Sydney to-day for Wellington, where she is due on Sunday. The vessel is fixed to sail from Wellington on the following Thursday (18th Inst.) for Sydney. WAITEMATA FROM CALCUTTA.--, The Union Company’s steamer Waitemata is expected to leave Calcutta for New Zealand ports at the end of this month. Ste Is to come via Singapore and Townsville. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. At. 210 p.m. ’on Monday’ tho Union Company’s Inter-colonial passenger steamer Manuka arrived in the stream at Wellington from Sydney direct. The cargo included 1904 cases of fruit for Wellington, 1128 cases o! fruit for Lyttelton, and transhipments ex Yarra, Prutfc, Eeikal Mani, Taiyuan, Eastern Levuka, Omar. Wakatlpu, Westralts, and Zeaiandia. The Manuka was timed to sail from Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday on the return trip to Sydney. I CANADIAN GOVERNMENT LINE. The Canadian Conqueror should arrive at Wellington about the middle of Septem ber from Montreal, via Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. The Canadian Importer sailed front Vancouver on August 6 for Australasian ports. She is tq be followed by the Canadian Scottish, about tho end of August; the Canadian Ranger, towards the end of September; and the Canadian Winner, In October. BROXTON UNDER ARREST.
