Interest to-day will centre equally in the meeting of Clifton and Okaiawa at Waitara and Hawera and Kaponga, at Kaponga. Th® two leading teams are up against stiff pro-' positions. Okaiawa, who are always a hard proposition, were defeated, by Clifton in the first round by the narrow margin of 6 points, and they can be relied on to keep the rocal team moving, especially if Clifton are at all weak. Hawera also defected Kaponga by a narrow margin, but this time they are meeting the latter on their home ground. The Stratford-Opunake match should also provide much interest, as the latter team is improving each Saturday. Tukapa journey to Patea. and will have to be all out to beat the local team.
