The Rarawa left Onehunga at 3 p.m. yesterday for New Tlyinouth, but no word was received of her having crossed the bar, so that it is probable the rough weather has held her up. DEPARTURES DELAYED. The steamers Waltomo and Kennedy are still sheltering at New Plymouth awaiting an improvement in the weather conditions. Although the seas were extremely high yesterday the vessels rode out the stonm in perfect safety. Last night the weather had moderated considerably. CORINNA DELAYED. The Corinna left Wellington at 12.40 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and was expected to put in an appearance yesterday, but did not arrive. The Union Company state that the vessel is probably sheltering. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Newcastle, August 4.—Kaikoura, from Auckland.
