Present indications are for north-westerly to south-westerly gales, with boisterous conditions and heavy rain probable generally; rivers flooded on the west coast and snow on the higher levels. Much colder weather will follow. A further decrease in the barometer pressure is to be expected before a definite rise takes place. Very heavy seas are likely in all parts of the western coast.
