ANGLICAN CHURCH MISSION.

FIFTEEN MONTHS’ WORK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 1. The Board of Missions of the Anglican Church, which meets here to-morrow, will be presided over by the aotingPrimate, Bishop Julius. The report, which will be presented by Bishop Sadlier, of Nelson, embracing the woric of 15 months, shows that the revenue for that period was £20,942, the year ending with an overdraft of £57 18s 7d. Expenses in connection with the mission have been greatly increaeed by the enhanced cost of coal and stores in the Pacific and the high rate of exchange in the East. The report also states that since last meeting of the executive the S.P.G. and the C.M.S. had met and a Amnion basis on which all missionary agencies should be co-ordinated in one board was reached and accepted." As these organisations are the two greatest missionary agencies of the church in New Zealand their co-ordination on a common basis may be regarded as a fact of the first importance. An important conference was also held in Sydney during the year with the Australian Board of Missions at which questions relating to work in the Pacific were discussed and dealt with. During the year four new workers went to various mission fields from New Zealand and are doing good work.
