According to a Pittsburg telegram the railway officials, advised by tl’e immigration authorities, detained the Australian tennis team at the border, because they did not possess proper passports. A later message stares that the team were released after being held for several hours at their hotel, and are proceeding to Pittsburg. London, July 28. The India;?-Japanese round in the Davis Cup has been fixed for August IS, owing to the delay in the Indians’ departure.
