THE ENGLISH PIERROTS.

FINAL PERFORMANCE TO-NIGHT.

The English Pierrot#; presented their revue, “Bits and Pieces,” for the second time at the Empire Theatre last night, j when they were accorded another fine < reception. The company man excep--1 tionally versatile one and their items i included solos, concerted numbers, instrumental pieces, dancing and comic i sketches. "A Piece of Harmony,” by 1 the male quartette, proved particularly popular, the «singers being thrice i ca;l--ed. The sketches included “Camouflage,” “The Officer and his B»’tinan” and “FerdicS: Ma-in-law,” in all of which a running fire of crisp, wholesome humor ran. The “Heart cf a Rose” was a novelty piece of another character, but, proved just as popular. The soloiets included Messrs. David Lyle. Edmund Warrington, Harry Schofield. Chas. Laurence and Roy Cooke, and Misses Iza Crossley and Ina Gordon Miss Moya Grosfiley captivated the audience with her violin numbers and was enthusiastically encored. Mius Lillian Colenzo, in the farcial numb.-r, "Oh. Cecil!” was also much in demand. Mr. Chas. Lawrence took numerous roles and acquitted himself with credit in all of them, his droll humor bringing roare of appreciative ! laughter from the. audience.
