Due New Plymouth September. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock yesterday morning with passengers and 110 tons of cargo. The vessel sailed again for Onehunga at- 8.20 pm. KENNEDY’ WITH COAL. The Kennedy is expected to arrive in port this morning with 172 tons of coal and coke from Westport. She will probably complete discharging to-night and sail again for Westport. WAITOMO TO SAIL. It is hoped to have completed the discharging of the Waitomo’s coal cargo this afternoon, when the vessel will leave for Newcastle. THE NGAHERE. The Ngahere left Greymouth yesternay morning at 2 a.m. for New Plymouth with 300 tons of coal. She should be here in time for discharge this morning. NGAKUTA DUE THURSDAY. Messrs. Collett and Co., Ltd., advise that the Ngakuta will sail from Whangarei on Monday for New Plymouth with 250 tons of cement to discharge here. She is expected to arrive on Thursday. CORINNA DELAYED. The Union Company advise that the Corinna has been delayed at Tliuaru, and will not now arrive at New Plymouth until Tuesday. It was expected th® vessel would arrive tomorrow. THE DURHAM. The liner Durham, due at YVelliugton today from Montreal, has general cargo from the latter port to discharge to ( the agency ot the New Zealand Shipping Company. The vessel has a large quantity of coal for her own bunkering. She later comes to New Plymouth. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Conqueror is reported to have left New York on- the 15th inst. for New Zealand ports. The vessel is due in New Zealand towards the end of August. SHROPSHIRE AT SOUTHAMPTON.
Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the liner Shropshire arrived at Southampton on tie 26th inst. from Wellington. The vessel left here on June 15. TAHITI LEFT SYDNEY. The Union Company received cable advice that the R.M S. Tahiti left Sydney at 10 o’clock on Thursday morning for Wellington with 180 passengers for that port. The vessel is due at Wellington on Monday morning, and is to sail on Tuesday at 3 p.m. for San Francisco, via ports. PACIFIC ISLAND SERVICE. A telegram from Auckland says the proposed new steamer service between Australia and the Pacific Islands formed the subject of discussion by the council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce on Thursday night. It was resolved that the committee confer with Auckland firms with a view to drawing up if possible some scheme for protecting New Zealand trade interests. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
