BRITISH GOVERNMENT. NOT ASKED TO HELP. ' London, July 28. Mr. Lloyd George, replying to a question in the House of Commons, said that the Government had not received official information regarding the famine in Russia, beyond what was supplied by the Russian trade, delegation. Wireless Russian information declared that the reports appearing in the Press were much exaggerated. The Government had not received any request for assistance. THE RELEASE OF INTERNEES.
