The Rarawa is expected to arrive at New Plymouth at 5.30 o’clock this morning from Onehunga with passengers and cargo. She will sail again on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. CORINNA DUE SUNDAY. Tho Union Company advise that the Corinna should reach New Plymouth on Sunday, two days earlier than was anticipated, owing to quick dispatch at the South Island ports, KENNEDY FROM WESTPORT. A telegram was received from Westport rast night stating that the steamer Kennedy sailed freon that port at 7.30 p.m, for New Plymouth. The New Plymouth agents, Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., state that the vessel is bringing a cargo of coal, probably about 200 tons. She should arrive here to-night. WAIKAWA FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Steam Ship Company advise that the Waikawa (5677 tons gross), is coming to New Plyunouth among otter ports with cargo from the American Pacific Coast. The first of the Union Company’s steamers to include New Plymouth In this service (the Waiotapu), arrived earlier this month, and the notification that the Waikawa is following provides one more step in the recognition of New Plymouth as a port, of call rot overseas vessels. The Waikawa is expected to reach Vancouver about July 31, and after taking in cargo there will proceed to San Francisco to complete. The vessel is expected to leave ti nt port about the middle of August for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Melbourne and Sydney. New Plymouth should »o reached, therefore, in the latter part of September.
WAITOMO TO SAIL. The work of discharging the collier Waltoino is proceeding apace, and It is expected the vessel will bo ready to sail for Newcastle to-morrow afternoon. KUMARA FROM HOME. Tho Shaw, Savlll and Albion Company have received cable advice that the Kumara left Liverpool on the 23rd Inst., cargo-laden for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland about September 12. and at Wellington a week later. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. The Canadian Government, gteamer Canadian Spinner is due at Wellington about September 15 from Montreal via Australian ports. The vessel will discharge there and load for New York direct. WAIRUNA FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company’s steamer Wairuna, cargo-laden from San Francisco, is to leave Apia on Monday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is due at Auckland about August 6, and at Wellington about August 15. THE PORT BOWEN. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Bowen is expected at Auckland about August 12 from London, and at Wellington about August 18. THE WEST HEPBURN. The steamer West Hepburn left Auckland on Wednesday evening for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from New York. The vessel is due at Wellington to-morrow. NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. - Tie R.M.S. Niagara left Suva for Auckland at 5 o’clock on Monday evening, In continuation of her voyage from Vancouver She is due to arrive at Auckland this morning. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
