MRS. MORT’S REGRETS.
WRONG DONE TO DR. TOZER. SEEKING ATONEMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 27, 8.30 p.m. Sydney, July 27 Mrr. Mor’., writing to Mrs. Tozer, mother of Dr. Tozer, from the State reformatory, in winch she is incarcerated, says that since being there she has realised, hiany rhiugs and one of them is the awful wrong done Dr. Tozer. She wants to say that never once did he take advantage of her, arid ali the things ot which he was accused were absolutely untrue. It was a continual horror to her to knew that she left a different impression on the public mind; no one could have been, more chivalrous. Mrs. Mort adds: “I am writing to try to make atonement for the wrong done the memory of a fine man.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable A&sn.
