PRICES AT WESTFIELD. By TsJegrspb —Press Association Auckland, Last Night. At Westfield there was a good yarding of beef. Prices for prime cattle were maintained, but unfinished sorts were hard to quit. Prices were:— Extra choice ox 365: prime 34s to 30s; plain 29s tc 25*; cows, extra prime-29s to 25a; plain 20* to 15s There was a moderate yarding of sheep, the bulk being unfinished. Prime sheep met with a ready sale at late rates: Extra heavy wethers 265; prime, 23 s to 21a; unfinished 20s to 14s 6d; ewes, prime 20a to 17s 6d; unfinished 15s to 10s. There was a full yarding of lamb, mostly unfinished; extra good made 25s 6d; prime 23* to 19s; stores Jss to 10s. Calves.—Moderate yarding with prices slightly improved, especially for vealere. Runners £6 to £5: veakrs £4 to £2 15s: fresh dropped. 8s to sa. Pigs—Small yarding, and values were fully up to last sale: Baconers £6 lOj to £5 10s; choppers £6 5s to £5; porker*. £4 to £2 ?7s. There was a somewhat better demand for stores.
