TIRED OF LIFE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Blenheim, Last Night. George William Daikee, aged 35, was found dead in a whare from a gun wound. He left a note saying he was tired of life, and intended shooting himself. DEATH IN CHURCH. Auckland, July 25. Miss Anderson, a middle-aged woman, while singing in Devonport Presbyterian Church, dropped her hymn book and fell on the floor. She was carried out and a doctor pronounced her dead. The cause is believed to have been a clot of blood on the brain. WOMAN SUFFERS CONCUSSION. Wellington, July 25. A woman, believed to be Mrs. Smith, sustained concussion by falling from or being run over by a. motor-car in the Ngahauranga Gorge. She was conveyed to a private house and later to a private hospital, where it is reported' she has not regained consciousness.
