FAITH HEALING IN CANADA.
• A REMARKABLE Canada also has its Rafana fo’4a.y 3 but he is a white man. A cripple almost from birth, as a result of infantile paralysis, Miss Enid Vollick, of Henry Street, a young woman about twenty-five years of age, limped to the altar in Ebenezcr Tabernacle this morning (says a Hamilton message to the Toronto Globe), and was anointed by Rev. F. F. Bosworth, the healing evangelist. To-night. Miss Vollick walked in to the platform of the auditorium in the Memorial School and, with tears in her eyes, declared that she had been healed.
LAMENESS AS GOOD AS GONE. “Since I was a child the muscles and ligaments of one limb were drawn up, and I was compelled to walk lamely. To-night, as a result of being blessed by Bro. Bosworth this morning, I have been able to put that shrunken limb down almost as firmly as my good one. While the muscles are still a little bit drawn, I know that my lameness is as good as cured. A beautiful sensation passed through me after I was anointed. I thank God for this great blessing,” said Miss Vollick, her eyes tear-dimmed. Hundreds were unable to attend the two healing missions opened in Ebenezer Tabernacle at 10 o’clock and continued until 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The second was held in the auditorium of Memorial School, and was attended by at least 3,500 people. SEVERAL CURES ANNOUNCED. Several miraculous cures were announced by the evangelist to-night. He confirmed the report that a woman who said she was totally blind, exclaimed after being anointed that she was able to see clearly. Unfortunately the name of this woman could not be learned tonight, but several reputable citizens who were present this morning corroborated the miracle. It was stated that the woman's name was among the cards of those who sought healing, and would be made public to-morrow. Three other persons, one a man and the other women, were cured of deafness. With the vasti audience singing “Just as I am,” A heart-moving scene was witnessed in Memorial School to-night, when about 250 young and old persons, some blind, some on crutches, others in invalids’ chairs, several with large goitres, others twisted with rheumatism, some deaf, others suffering from cancer, tuberculosis, and such maladies, made their way to the platform and asked that they be healed by the grace of God. At a late hour to-night prayers were still being said for those suffering, and few, if any, cf the large audience had left the hall.
