STANDS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES. is hereby given of the following resolutions passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the 18th day of July, 1921. That in pursuance of the provisions of By-Law 293 of The New Plymouth Borough By-Laws, 1915, the New Plymouth Borough Council hereby abolishes Stand No. 4 (Stand for Licensed Motor Cars exclusive of Motor Omnibuses) and Stand No. 5 (Stand for Licensed Motor Delivery Vans) as set out and described in tjie resolution of the Council passed on June 23, 1919. and duly advertised.

That in pursuance of the provisions of By-Law 292 of the New Plymouth Borough By-Laws, 1915, and of all other ' powers thereunto mabling the New Plymouth Borough Council hereby provides and fives stands as set out in the Schedule hereto for t licensed vehicles of the different classes described in the said Schedule, such stands being more clearly shown and defined plan submi'.ted to this meeting and to be deposited in the office of the Borough Inspector, Liardet Street, New Plymouth. SCHEDULE. STAND NO. 4.—Stand for Licensed . Motor Cars (exclusive of Motor Omnibuses). The Eastern side of Currie Street from the Southern boundary line of Devon Street to the Northern boundary line of Courtenay Street. Number of Y'ehicles for which Stand appointed: 8. The direction of the fronts of motor ears: Facing North-west. Space to be left between each vehicle: Four feet. STAND NO. s.—Stand for Licensed Motor Delivery Y’ans. The Northern side of Courtenay Street and Powderham Street from Currie Street to a line , drawn in prolongation of the I Eastern boundary line of section : 683, New Plymouth. Number of Vehicles for which stand appointed: 8. The direction of fronts of Vehides: Facing East. Space to be left between each Vehicle: Four feet. AND it is hereby stipulated that in using either of the above stands:— (a) No vehicle shall be so placed as to block the entrance to any right-of-way having a frontage to the portion of any street provided as a stand nor so placed as to block the entrance of any shop, office or warehouse. (b) No vehicle shall be so placed that any part of it shall be within nine feet from the. nearest boundary line of any street intersecting that within which the stand is provided or of any street junction. (c) The inner wheels of each vehicle whilst upon either stand shall be kept within eighteen inches of the channelling adjoining such Stand. F. T. BELLRINGER, Town Clerk. MARTIN BROS.
