Prince Leopold of Prussia, uncle of the Kaiser, and one of the wealthiest Hohenzollema before the revolution, has been living at Lugano, Switzei land, whither he escaped with a considerable store of jewellery. When in Switzerland he pawned the jewels for half a million Swiss francs, and the Prussian Ministry of Finance promptly sent a representative to Switzerland and repurchased the jewela An inquiry has now been ordered to discover how the Prince smuggled the property out of Germany.—Aus.-NJZ.
