INCREASE IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. London, July 18. Convictions for drunkenness in England and Wales totalled 95,763 last year, compared with 57,948 in 1919, showing a continuance of the reaction from the striking decreases during the war. Yorkshire, Lancashire, the Midlands and the eastern and western counties had the largest increases.
