A large meeting in the Town Hall, Archbishop Kelly presiding, carried a resolution expressing appreciation of the manner in which Bishop Dwyer had vindicated the dignity and responsibility of his position in connection with the Ligouri case. Over £l5OO was subscribed for a testimonial fund.
