AUCKLAND SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright. Auckland, July 13. In the Supreme Court, Henry Richard Jeffrey, who admitted forgery and theft at Whangarei, was sentenced to one year’s imprisonment; Wi Paritene, Government Maori ranger at Whakatane, admitted accepting a bribe and attempting to obtain another bribe; he was sentenced to three months hard labor.
