FUTURE PROGRESS OF TARANAKI —Depends Upon Adequate Finance WHY TOWNSPEOPLE SHOULD HELP i , - . .. ■■ > '' Everyone with money to invest should rally round the “FARMERS’ CO-0P.,” who, at expense to themselves, are endeavouring to assure the future progress of Taranaki by offering 8 per cent, interest upon deposits as a means of preventing money from leaving the Province. We have to thank mostly farmers for the large sum already received, but the matter must not rest with the farmers alone. The townspeople should be equally interested. If money leaves the Province, townsfolk will feel the pinch more than the farmer, and nerhaos too late they will regret they have not assisted in the project. What the position may be Ask your Banker or Solicitor what the position will shortly be if you do not keep the money in your own Province. Taranaki is now feeling the pinch. Don’t be backward if you have only £lOO. An accumulation of hundreds will soon make a considerable sum, and with £50.000 we can assist to carry the Province through the bad period that may be ahead. Don’t let your money be drawn away by the seductive and prominent announcements of outside firms. Remember there is nothing safer than Taranaki securities, which are based on dairying products, for which there is an unsatisfied and profitable market—and likely to Icc for very many years to come.
