ARCHBISHOP MANNIX.
ARRIVAL IN JAPAN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received July JO, 11.5 p.mNew York, July 9. The Chicago Tribune’s Tokio correspondent reports that Archbishop Mannix has arrived there. He visited a sister of Terence McSwiney, who is a teacher in the local convent. Archbishop Mannix said: “There can be no truth in any report of peace in Ireland unless the British announce complete Irish inde-pendence.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
