PORT OF WANGANUI.
A PROSPEROUS HALF-YEAR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, July 8. The half-year ended June 30 was a prosperous one for the Harbor Board. The number of ships trading to the. port largely increased, particularly coasters, in which the increase was 338. The total increase in the number of ships was 351, and the increase in tonnage 114,070 tons. The revenue for the half-year was £12.867 and the expenditure £11,113, the net increase being £728. The value of the exports from the district for the first five months of this year was £2,031,789.
