BILLIARDS.

TARANAKI INTER-CLUB MATCH. A team from the Eltham C.E.M.S. C*uV journeyed to New Plymouth on Thursday evening and met members of the New Plymouth Club in the Taranaki inter-club billiard and snooker tournament. On the evening’s play honors were even, tte C.E.M.S. Club winning the billiard match, and the New Plymouth Club the snooker qiatch.

Four games were played at billiards and four at snooker. In the former Blackstock (Eltham) defeated Priest (New Plymouth), Des Forges (Eltham) defeated Higgs (New Plymouth), Bodie (Eltham) defeated Granger (New Plymouth), and Barlow (New Plymouth) defeated Bcoon (Eltham). In the snooker games Vincent (Eltham), defeated A.
