The season opened in < fine weather, and very many complijmentary remarks were passed by the visitors on the excellent condition uf the green. The club competed in both the Banner and Gilmour Cup competitions, and, although not having the privilege of lowering the colors of our more experienced opponents, on several occasions all available members were in the field and all thoroughly enjoyed the 1 competition matches. The club championship was won by Mr. A. T. Moore, and he is to be congratulated on his consistent play. Mr. R. Tippins is also to be congratulated on reaching the final. Both the Dobson Bowls and the Hookham Medals have been much nought after, and provided closely contested and enjoyable games. During the previous year the accommodation in the

pavilion was found to be inadequate, and by means of working bees it was extended, and although not now pretentious the building should meet the requirement for the present. Thanks are due to all thoHe, both members and friends, who assisted the club by donacions of debentures, cash or material, or by giving up their time for the various working bees. The ladies are especially c.eserying of thanks for the splendid assistance they g..ve at the opening day and throughout the sea~son, especially Mrs. Gilbert, for the willing help g*ven at all times.”
