AMERICAN LOANS.
PROPOSED BANK OF NATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Washington, Jure 29 Mr. Mellon told the Senate Finance Committee that more than a biUion dollars were due to America as interest on money loaned, to foreign Governments. There had been 451,736,000 dollars interest paid on ten billions loaned. Repayment® of principal to June 17 totalled 162,292,000 dollars. Senator Hitchcock introduced a Bill creating a Bank of Nations, with a capital of two billion four hundred millions to act as fiscal agent of America Other Governments would be admitted as stockholders. The bonds of solvent Governments would be taken as payment for stock.
