DOMINION WINTER SHOW.
OPENS TO-MORROW. The Dominion winter show will opex at Hawera to-morrow, when the Hon C. J. Parr (Minister of Education/, will perofrm the opening ceremony ai 2.15 p.m. The entries this year art larger than last year, and the school entries, except the boys’ and girls’ clubs section, are particularly good, the total exceeding last year’s by about 600 During the show two interesting foot ball matches will be played —Taranald v. South Auckland on Wednesday, and? W’anganui College v. New Plymouth Boys’ High School on Saturday. Visitors to Hawera during the show will have the advantage of excursion fares on the railway.
