HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER.
TENDERS FOR MANGAHAQ S CHE ME.
By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Public Works Department has completed arrangements for calling for tenders for the plant in connection with the Mangahao hydro-electric power scheme and the aggregate amount involved is in the vicinity of £250,000. Tenders are expected from Great Britain, America, Switzerland and France. The plant for which tenders are to be called consists of water wheels, generators, three-unit exciters, transformers, insulators, lightning arresters and switchboards.
