DISTRICT NEWS.
LOWGARTH. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The weathei up till lately has been very mild and beneficial in every way, but the last few days have been very rough Indeed, with an abundance of rain. Enthusiasm in football has not qu!.t'e faded away in these parts, for, I understand, sports are at work trying to get up a team to challenge other such country districts. This, to my mind, is a real good thing, and should get, a lot of support.' The farewell dance and presentation to be tendered to Mrs. and Miss Kilbride, who are leaving the district, takes place in the Lowgarth Hr.il on Friday, July 1. and promises to be a huge success. Mrs. Bianchi’s orchestra, of Stratford, has been engaged to p:ny for the dance, and a right, real, royal time Is assured.
