Present indications are for variable winds, moderate to strong south to south-east prevailing northward of Kawhia and Napier, north tt> west predominating elsewhere shortly. Weather fair to cloudy generally, with increasing cloudiness and more unsettled weather to follow in the south, where the barometer is likely to fall soon.
