DOMINION WINTER SHOW.
OPENS NEXT TUESDAY. The twelfth annual Dominion Show, which opens n’t Hawera on Tuesday next, promises to be even more successful than any of its predecessors. Applications for space have been so numerous that it has been found impossible to accommodate all, and the directors are faced with the necessity of building further extensions, which, of course, cannot be carried ki for this show. The competitive sections also show a large increase, there being an increase in every section except dairy produce. The schools’ section continues to advance by leaps and bounds, the entries exceeding those of last year by 700. As usual a number of outside attractions have been arranged, including the Taranaki v. South Auckland football match on Wednesday, and the collegiate match between New Plymouth High School and Wanganui College on Saturday. The show will be officially opened on Tuesday by the Hou. C. J.
